Dear Sparks Families,
The PTA is gearing up for a great year at Sparks with lots of exciting events and tools to support the school, your students, and our teachers. We cannot continue to provide necessary supplies and equipment for our students without your help!
Direct Donation:
Again this year at Sparks we are reaching out with our annual direct donation request. We ask that each family give a monetary donation instead of asking students to do direct selling of various items throughout the year (such as wrapping paper, chocolate bars, pizzas, etc.). Direct Donation is the best way for our Sparks community to directly support our school, since EVERY penny goes right back into the school.
The Sparks PTA takes great pride in enhancing your students’ experience through parent volunteers and financial support with the funds collected via direct donations going to activities including the following:
Student Assemblies (4 to 5 per year)
Classroom Parties
Family Events (Ice Cream Social, Movie Nights, etc.)
Teacher Discretionary Funds
Reading Incentive Program
Monthly Educational Publications
Scholarships
Communication folders (all grades)
Student Planners (3rd, 4th, and 5th grades)
To support these and other activities/expenses this year, we are asking for a tax-deductible donation of $50 per student, or up to $125 per family; however, we appreciate monetary donations of ANY amount.
